A companion app for Dune: Awakening, built for an audience of two: my best friend and me. Our bases kept losing power while we were offline, so I rebuilt the in-game console as a native app that warns us before it happens.
Sub-Fief Monitor — v1.0
no dependencies
bases · craft · desert · alerts · manage
2 widgets + live activity
every alert is local
one iPhone, one Android
( What it does )
- Alerts before it's too lateThe power-down moment is deterministic, so the app plans local notifications ahead. No push, no server, works with the app closed.
- Scan the consolePoint the camera at the in-game console; on-device text recognition fills in every figure. No network, no API key.
- Crafting calculatorPick what you want to build and get every raw material, intermediate and the total storage volume, fully offline.
- Lists, timers & Live ActivitiesSave a plan as a checklist, start a craft timer and watch it count down on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
- Native on both phonesiOS gets native cards and Liquid Glass, Android its own Material You blocks. Same model and share format, so a list moves from one phone to the other.
- Four themesFrom native cards to an amber console look straight out of the game, plus two house themes.
( Pick a house )
Same console, three allegiances.
